Friend bought DVC

My husband and I purchased our DVC in 1997. We love it so much that we tell everyone about it. I have a friend who bought into DVC while we were on a Disney cruise a few weeks ago. When she told me that they finally bought, she said that she gave our names as her referral source and said "I hope they do something nice for you."

Does Disney do anything for the people who made the referral? If so, what kind of stuff do they do?

I remember at one time we received a gift card for making a referral of some friends who bought in. I cannot recall the amount of the card.

Depends on which state you live in and if referral gifts are permitted in that state. I live in AR and they aren't allowed.
