it's the South....I know there's gotta be somewhere in the World that has some good home-cooked fried chicken!! C'mon - tell me people!!
I'm from Alabama, you can't get much more southern than that and I think that 50's PTC has some of the the best fried chicken I've eaten. I've had it several times and it's always been served piping hot..
I've never tried 50's Prime Time, but I do like Trails End. If you just want to take a break from the parks T.E. is a great place to have dinner and just relax for the evening. You can eat at the buffet or you can get a bucket of chicken to go and picinic at the beach.
I have a hard time thinking of Florida as the south. Most people who live there are transplants from the north.![]()
Well, not most people.I live "there" as did my parents, and their parents, etc....
A lot of folks in south Florida are transplants, but when you go north and west of central Florida, we are mostly native Floridians. We do make real southern fried chicken here.
I was born and raised here, as was my hubby.
I learned how to fry chicken when I was barely 10 years old. That, and how to fix sweet tea. Funny how there is no sweet tea in WDW, either.....
