fridge swap at pop

My husband is (insulin dependent) diabetic and both times we've stayed at Pop, all we had to do was tell them that and we were able to get the fridge fee waived for medical necessity.

ah, beat me to it They will not charge you for the fridge if it is a medical need, just tell them.

A few years ago, we stayed at Pop. My DD was just finishing up a medication that required refrigeration, and I told them upon check-in, and it was in our room later that afternoon. And, no charge.

Really..who knew there was So Many fridge swap snobs on the board?? i mean some have been rude and snarky re the swaps. Get over it already people.

Just ask for one when you check and let them know u need for meds and it should be problem.

fridges are FREE if you need it for medications.. no problem!!

for those who want to avoid the rental fee.. we have paid the $10 per day rental fee. . and I dont' care if someone doesn't, if they want to go through the whole hassle of the swap.. (just sounded liek too big of a hassle for us)

I see no problem with "Paying it forward" and all that. great idea!!
there seems to be many missing fridges, toasters, coffee pots, etc.


MY GUESS! I'll bet people who wanted to save on the fee per day were too cheap to TIP the people dragging this stuff around. I am a waitress.. and this is my best guess./
IF you happened to BE there when the fridge was delivered, you MIGHT have been guilted into giving the bell hop person a couple bucks.. chance are, a LOT of bell services personnel spent a LOT of time transferring, or lableling fridges. aand , not only was disney NOT making any money of of it,, even though their employees were spending time taking care of it..

my guess IS.... it PROBABLY would have STILL worked out OK, if only people would have bothered to TIP!!!!

Do you mean you put those users on your ignore list? If so, you won't see their posts, but everyone else can still see them. You don't have the ability to block anyone else's posts. And I didn't see any other rude posts either, so I don't know who else you thought was rude.
