it had a full fridge and worked perfectly and seemed new. No ice maker though. Nice and clean---not too cold or warm.

Yes, the family suites were not affected and the Little Mermaid standard rooms have completed the swap out.

Were staying at POR (wheelchair assesable room) haven't received any letter from disney yet (leaving on November 10th) anyone staying there noticed if the refrigerators have been replaced in these rooms. Not sure if I should pack a soft sided cooler.

we were at POFQ 10/19-10/26. I had made a request for one fridge between our 2 rooms when I called to make our room requests a very nice CM was kind enough to but in "medical necessity" for my sisters room. I asked when we checked in at FQ and was told that they "had a shortage of fridges" which was interesting as the posts on the POFQ thread had stated that as on Sept 4th 90% of the fridges at FQ had been replaced.

Happy to report there were working fridges in both our rooms

We check in at POP in two weeks and just got the refrigerator letter in the mail. Reading through here, it sounds like it's still hit and miss. We don't spend much time at the resort and din't have a medical need, so it's not the end of the world if we don't get one. But we do like to keep yogurts in the fridge for a quick breakfast, so fingers crossed. And I didn't know I could ask for credit in lieu of the fridge... Thanks for the info!

Thanks so much but we're staying at POR. I just didn't know if they replaced the refrigerators in the wheelchair assesable rooms first since I haven't received a letter from POR yet. Should I be able to get the 15$ credit if I wasn't notified in advanced?

I was at CSR in Ranchos October 29-31 and I did not have a fridge.

Just came back from Pop Century. We had two rooms on the 4th floor of building 1. Both had working fridges.

Just got back from Sports, building 1 (Surf's Up), floor 3. We had three rooms, none of which had fridges. One was provided upon request for the room that needed a fridge for medicine. The other two never received fridges. They would not honor the $15 per night credit.

There have been other DIS members who also were denied the $15 nightly credit and contacted Guest Services when they got home. Guest Services stated, in no uncertain terms, they should not have been denied the nightly credit and had their CC's refunded the $15 nightly credit.

Currently at Pop Century....Building 4, 4th floor, have new working frig and new updated bedding.

I was at All Star Sports Nov 30. I had no frig and they didn't seem to care that I was not happy about it. I will never stay there again. The whole resort looked like a cheap motel.
