Fridge Status Check-in *SEE FIRST POST

How far out are you guys getting the no fridge letter? We are staying at Pop in 19 days and haven't gotten one. I called the resort directly today and was told they had not even started switching them out. I guess they are saying that just to be safe. We have a preferred room booked.

50's, building 1, 4th floor. Right beside the big Lady from Lady and the Tramp The fridge is very cool too, not the semi-chilled ones of the past lol

Please post when you can about the fridges there at CBR...we check in very soon and my daughter has medical need of a fridge in the room. The hotel told me they are in most all of the rooms now and I should not have an issue, but inside info is always a plus. Have a GREAT stay!

We are in 90s building, three rooms. We all requested fridges and within the hour one was in our room. Should be no issue to get one.

We got the dreaded letter yesterday and we are check in on Oct 31 at ASMovies. We received it 7 days out. I really need one for medicine. I hope to be able to get one regardless of the size to put med vials in it.

Just returned from CBR. We were in room 2504. It was a great location & we had a working fridge.

They are currently installing fridges in building 2 (jukebox building) at Pop right now. They just left our room.

Anyone know the status of the refrigerators at All Star Sports? We haven't gotten a letter, but we are still 3 weeks out....we are in a preferred room.

Checked into movies, fantasia bldg 5. Had 3 rooms, only 1 had fridge. After asking was told they had delay of shipment of new fridges, so priority goes to medical needs. No prob, I say, as they offered to have a cooler brought up. After 3 days if waiting & calling, had a fridge brought to 1 room, but did not get cold, & back got burning hot. Another 2 days of calling & visits to the front desk, finally got a cooler. Repeatedly told them the fridge was defective & a fire hazard. We were just concerned that someone coming in after us would plug in the fridge. After another trip to front desk on day 7 someone came, tested the fridge, saw that it got burning hot, cut the cord off, & took it away

At Movies and no fridge. I decided to ask about one after our first night and said they could if it was for medical. I told them it was (type 1 diabetic) and the cm at the front desk typed a request on her computer and said one would be delivered. Went to the parks today and after returning still no fridge. I went to the front desk to tell them again and again told it was for medical so repeated it again and she saw the notes I guess. She was honest with me and said it wasn't likely we'd get one. I told her if others needed it more than me I was ok with that as we leave Monday morning.

We are in the Toy Story section and bldg 10 I think.

I'd suggest mentioning it right away and stay on them if you really need one! Good luck

My new one is a salad killer though! It froze my cream cheese tub into a big frozen rock, and I called and asked if someone could come by and turn it out when I was out at the parks (no dial in the fridge) Someone did turn it down, but the next morning I found the bottle of coke I'd put in it had frozen

We were there October 12-23 and all the rooms had new fridges.
