Fridge Screwup

I kind of screwed up. When I did my reservation for Pop Century, I indicated that I wanted a fridge. I didn't realize that it costs $10 a day which will more than outweigh any benefit for me. Am I stuck now with keeping a room with a fridge or can I get out of it? Should I call Disney in advance to let them know or can I just show up and decline a fridge? Do I do this before I get on the Disney bus from the airport or at Pop Century itself?

If you really dont want it, I would call them now and let them know. That way you'll be sure it's taken care of, plus is someone else wants it it will be available.

I would advise the same. Call them now... on a side note, when I stayed at ASmu the first time, we had a fridge. I didn't think anything of it, it wasn't until later I found out that we weren't really supposed to have it, and we didn't pay any extra. If you can stop along the way and get a cheap cooler, that may work for you as you can always get free ice.

I believe there are fridge swaps on the budget board so that you can get a fridge if you want it at a much lower rate.

I agree. Please call ahead and tell them you don't want it. That way someone who really needs one for say, medication, can have it.
