fridge item requests in concierge

I have read on many posts that previous cruisers have been able to make a special request for items to be stocked in their fridge when sailing concierge. When we sailed this past April, i asked our room host if it would be possible to have Coke Zero stocked and he said they weren't allowed to stock items in the fridge for us. I was fine with that and it wasn't a big deal, but i still continue to read about other cruisers who have been able to have things stocked. We were in a 1-bedroom on the Fantasy. Anyone have experiences since April where they have had this request granted? Just wondering... Travelling concierge on the Dream next month, so just getting my ducks in a row!

Yes we asked for some branded soda and got it. Now they have a lot in bars, which they can get, but some they may not stock. We got some in the next port of call. They must have gone out and got it. We had this on the Fantasy and Magic, but health warning, I find different concierge hosts act differently, some do a lot, some do not.

If you ask the shore side Concierge they will make sure its there when you board.

Like i said, it really is not a big deal, but we had asked the room host directly and didn't even think to ask the concierge host. DH was always able to get it in the lounge and he brought it back to the cabin. but i knew prior to our sailing i had read about people getting their fridge stocked. we loved it in the lounge, so it was just a simple trip to get Coke Zero....I even got thte impression from the room host that thy would get in trouble if they did stock the fridge..just odd, that's all!

This. If your cruise isn't until next month, just email or call the shore side Concierge. For my cruise next month, I asked for Coke Zero to be pre-stocked in the fridge (along with some Mickey rice crispy treats if they happen to be laying around ). They emailed back and replied they would take care of it.

They stocked our freezer with Mickey bars in the Walt suite when they found out I had a preference for them!
