Anybody knows if the rooms in any of the 3 resort hotels have fridge inside? The Universal Orlando website doesn't seem to mention it. Thanks.

There is a stocked fridge in the room but I would not even accept the key as the prices are typical sky high hotel charges. You can reserve a fridge but it's somewhere between $15-$25 a day...I forget. If you have a medical necessity for a fridge one will be given to you free of charge for your use :) A lot of peeps will bring their own cooler or pick up one of the styrofoam ones from the grocery store and keep it in their room. That's what we have done in the past!

fridge rental is $15 a night.
same as the microwave rental.

when you are in your room, push the star service button on the phone.
they will make the arrangements for your fridge (or microwave).

it is cheaper to buy the $4 styro-foam chest at public, walgreens, etc.
fill it with ice from the ice machine on your floor.
put your items in that to keep cool.

keep the chest in your tub so housekeeping doesn't disturb it.

Well, I would use the fridge to store my own stuff. Is the stocked fridge a regular fridge or is it one of those fancy ones with weight sensor where they'll charge you the moment you touch it?

I guess I was spoiled when I stayed at WDW contemporary with an empty fridge included for me to fill up... :)

I didn't even touch the fridge when we stayed at RPH in December--didn't want to risk the extra charges. With 4 kids, I didn't want to chance them picking up something that was not ours by mistake.

Although, my brother in the room next door did say he put his own bottled waters in the minibar fridge...

DB did try to get my kids to eat the fancy cookies with the price tag on them in my room. :rotfl:

i always refuse the key to the minifridge.

can't answer your question.

maybe someone reading has used the fridge and can post about it.

At HRH we shoved some of our stuff in the room mini-fridge. It is really small and there is not a lot of room as it is full of the items for sale. I think we got a small carton of milk in there and maybe a couple of waters. It was not weighted when we were there. I assume the hotel staff does inventory to see what may have been used.
