Fridge/Freezer problem

Since it is Sunday, I have no hope for a repairman coming out today. I have a 5 yr old GE Performance Plus unit. Both the freezer and the fridge are not cooling. The ice maker is still working. I had to toss out everything. What do you think it is? The temp setting is where it should be and we even made it higher.

Have you tried vaccuming underneath? Take the front grid off and clean really good under the fridge. My Dad taught me that years ago. If there is a lot of dust and dirt on the metal thingeys the frig won't cool properly. Worth a shot!

This happened to my fridge about 3 weeks ago. My problem was the recirculating fan in the freezer. It cost about $130 to fix. I guess I was lucky, I caught mine before I had to throw out food.

Thanks everyone for the advice. The inside of the freezer is full of ice. The repairman is coming out tomorrow between 8 and noon.
