Fridge at Poly?

I've been doing a search and finding some conflicting information about fridges in the rooms at the Poly. Anyone been there recently know the answer?

As of January, all rooms at Poly should have fridges. (All deluxes and moderates)

Well, I was there in February and we didn't have a fridge. I didn't need one, so it wasn't a big deal. I did notice it, however, because we had been at PO-R earlier in the same visit and did have a fridge there. I understand that if you do not have a fridge and want one, they will bring one to your room and there is no charge.

You're fine either way, but I just wanted people to know that the fridges weren't all in place as recently as February 18.

Are you guys saying that all Deluxe resorts have fridge's in every room? Or, if they don't, then you can request a fridge once you get there and one will be delivered to your room?

Disney is putting refrigerators in all rooms at Deluxe and Moderate resorts. They were supposed to be in place in January, but it appears they got a little behind. If you happen to get a room w/o one, you should just have to ask and your wish will be granted.

It used to be that they would charge about $10 per day for the refrigerator.

We stayed at the Poly last May and had to pay the extra $10 per day for a fridge. When I booked our stay for this May I forgot to request a fridge, I just called yesterday and asked the CM to add a fridge to our room. She checked the reservation and said we did not request one earlier but that she would note our request, she never said anything about all of the rooms having fridges so if you need one you might want to call and verify just to be on the safe side.

We were at the Polynesian at the end of February and there was not a refrigerator in our room when we checked in. We have insulin that needs to be kept chilled so I did call for one.

However, I saw a few of them in the halls during our stay so I think they were being moved in/out of the rooms as requested.

Still wondering if the refrigerators in all deluxes is a rumor?

for those of you that did have a fridge at Poly (or any other resort), did you happen to notice if it had a small freezer? I want to be able to put a reusable ice pack in it each night to use for our small cooler in the parks each day. thanks!

Yes, there is a little freezer part. I never used it at PO-R, so I'm not sure how cold it really gets. I assume the fridges at the various places are essentially the same.
