Friday Pin Meets at the Contemporary

Thanks Kathryn/Pintrader for organizing these ongoing meets. Jonie and I were there for last Friday's event and I had a WONDERFUL time. The trading was good, fair and friendly, as was the company. I got to put many names with faces and even met Steve/Z&X's Dad for the first time.

There were easily about 60 people there...all ages....and it was great to see so much community happening. It is also really nice of the hotel to provide tables and chairs for us. Of course there were so many of us that the trading space continued on the floor.

If any of you out of towners happen to be available on a Friday, check these meets out. they are the best!!!!!!

I always have a great time at the Friday meets! I think it's the shark repellent that Kathryn uses that makes it so much fun.

Friday November 2nd was my first pin meet at the Contemporary I had such a wonderful time. It was so nice meeting people from the boards (and trading with them). It was really nice putting a name to a face. I was there for a good couple of hours and trading was fast, furious and best of all fair. At first it was overwhelming, there were so many traders. The first person I met was Kathryn (pintrader) she was great when we met she gave me a great big hug. It was such a overall positive experience.

Sorry that I missed everyone last Fri....I was down w/ the flu....and that was the only way I would not be there..

Don't forget...we meet at 7pm on the 4th floor right by the pin station... This week promises to be a sprcial w/ Peggie on her way down...can't wait to see everyone..

My first Friday night pin meet was also last week, 11/2. Had a great time and like the others, enjoyed putting faces with the names we see so often on the boards. Sure wish I lived closer so I could make more of them. Will make sure to plan my next trip around the Friday night pin meet.

I recommend this meet to anyone who will come to WDW....go to this meet every friday night, a must see!
But I'll be there tomorrow.....can't wait.

We're coming down for the first real visit to WDW since we started pin trading. I cannot wait! We wil arrive Wednesday afternoon. We plan to come to the Contemporary meet on Friday, Nov 16. Can't wait to meet everyone face to face.
