Friday or Saturday AM ceremony?

We are finalizing our date and cannot decide whether to do a Friday morning or Saturday morning ceremony.......

The only price difference that I know of so far is the harpist is $75 more on Saturday, which isn't that much of a price increase to factor in much.

What are the pro's and con's of each day???

We are having a December wedding (2nd week into the month), simple ceremony at Swan/Dolphin followed by a brunch reception and then planning on booking a DP that evening.

Are DP's easier to book on a Fri. vs. Sat. or vice versa??

So far, our guests have said it doesn't matter either day, so I'm just trying to see what might be best....

Any thoughts???

The one thing I can think of is that Saturday will be easier for people who can't take a lot of time off work. And I've never heard of any difference in availability of DPs on Fridays vs. Saturdays.

Thanks Carrie! I think the DP was my main concern, as guests have been telling me that it really doesn't matter to them.
