Friday Night before the Marathon Weekend

Hi All! Does anyone know if any restaurant on property is having a pasta dinner the Friday night before Marathon Weekend? This is something the Marathon folks used to do in the past, but apparently this year it will not be happening.

WISH marathoners are eating at Trails End Friday night. Dh decided he wants his carb load Thursday so we are headed to Pepper Market. Good luck!

I have a friend who has done the marathon for a few years--most if not all restaurants on property will have some sort of carb dish available.

AS for the WISHERs--we still have seats available at Trails End on Friday night if you wish to join us.

I will be there Thursday through Monday....earlier if my mom let's me crash in her room. ]


DD Trails End is at Fort Wilderness--easiest thing to do is take resort transportation to MK and then take the launch over--we have reservations for something like 90-100 (I'd have to check my own thread ). We will be meeting between 4 and 4:15 and then we have reservations staggered from 4:30 to 4:50pm. They wouldn't let us book one big massive reservation--so a bunch of us called in and we have ressies for groups of 4 up to 30. And the best part---we have enough DDE cards to cover the entire reservation--so everyone is getting a discount on dinner.
