Friday half day help! (During MNSSHP and F&W)

We'll be arriving this Friday (Oct 27), and by my best guess we'll be checked in to the resort and entering a park around 2pm.
MNSSHP is going on at MK, so that's out. No reason to go to MK just to have to leave shortly after.
My first thought was going to Epcot instead, since its open the latest, but then I read that people flood from MK to Epcot when the Halloween party starts, Epcot will probably be packed.
Right now I have FP for HS, but I'm rethinking maybe AK instead? I wasn't able to get FP for either Avatar ride, but maybe we could hop in line for FOP at the end of the night? Or is that not even a possibility on a Friday night?
Thoughts? Ideas?

I would probably do MK for 5 hours and then try and get a dinner ADR at a monorail resort or go to Disney Springs.

We're doing HS on our arrival day, but you could definitely do AK instead and hop in line for FOP at the end of the night -- they tend to inflate the wait times to discourage late riders. We will also be doing that if I can't get a FP for it.

We're doing something similar. Arriving on a party day (Sunday). We decided to check in after (we have a rental car) and go straight to MK. Should be there by around 12. We'll have to leave at 6, but then can go and check in. Thought it would be perfect for first day.
