We were at the parks yesterday from about 9:30 to 12:30, don't ask us how we managed to stay that long with no hotel break :) Parks were crowded but we got alot done. We saw no characters anywhere, the whole time, we only saw Jasmine and Alladin at Oasis and then Mr. Incredible in DCA and that's it. I was amazed that's all we saw. Parade was awesome, fireworks were awesome, DD3 loved the snow afterwards, she thought it was really snowing (never seen real snow) and we saw F for the 1st time and that was amazing. Going back next week M-Th, staying at GCH and hoping for way less crowds.

Happy Belated thanksgiving everyone!!

YAY glad you guys had fun! weird about the characters though...but the ones you did see are ones that I rarely see, so that's cool :)

Happy Belated thanksgiving everyone!!

We were there all Thanksgiving week and here are the characters we saw:

Disneyland: Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, Dale, Gepetto & Pinnochio, Bert and Mary Poppins, Queen of Hearts, Alice, Mad Hatter, Cruella. These characters came out pretty regularly throughout the day in the hub. There were usually quite long lines. The typical places for the characters to be standing were in front of the fire station, Abe Lincoln, City Hall and/or Tour building, and near the hat shop. Buzz Lightyear came out in Tomorrowland. We also ran across Push. We have a picture or two with a character everyday, so characters did come out. Sometimes they were hard to see because of the lines or mobs of people surrounding them. Also, we did not encounter roving characters. They were pretty much in consistent places this trip. I did see Goofy on Friday evening in front of Pizza Port though; that was a different spot.

DCA: Meet and greets were happening near the Tough to Be a Bug Movie. We walked by several times during the week and saw people getting pictures with characters there. There were usually two characters out at a time and you waited for both in one line. We saw Chip and Dale together and Donald out at the same time. We also saw Mickey and Pluto there once. Sully came out consistently in the Hollywood backlot area across from the restrooms near the Hyperion. The Visa Meet & Greet was fun because Chip and Dale were wearing "secret agent" costumes, and we hadn't seen that before. Their rotation this last week was at 11 AM. Starting at 10:30 AM each day, Goofy in his aviator costume came out and posed near the plane near Soarin'. Minnie would follow at 11. I think they rotated throughout the day. I really wanted to get a picture of the boys with aviator Goofy, but it never worked out. We saw Mulan and Mushu in front of the bread factory yesterday morning but were too late to get pictures.

You should have much less crowds next week, so maybe it will be easier to find the characters.
