I just read on the Universal Boards that a poster said this day is a school holiday for teachers and students in Florida. I am not referring to the Grad Night part of it but can anyone tell us if this is a state holiday, county holiday etc, Wow, I might have to adjust my plans, I was actually thinking of going to a water park that day, but want to get some idea of the local crowds not to mention the vacation normal crowd levels etc. Any info appreciated.

It isn't a holiday here in the Panhandle, but I don't know about Central Fl.

It isn't a holiday in Palm Beach County.

This is the first I've heard of it, and DBF works for DoE. It might be a teacher planning day for one of the local school districts or something, but it's not statewide.
