Yes, it's yet another date opinion request. :duck: :flower3:

So, our summer trip was postponed, and we are now looking at early May. We've never been to DL in the spring, and I'm trying to figure out which 4 days would be the best for us. We have the option of being in the parks from Friday, May 3 through Monday, May 6...or...Sunday, May 5 through Wednesday, May 8.

I know to expect the shorter hours and the strong possibility of more refurbs, but I'm trying to figure out if having 2 weekdays and 2 weekend days *or* 3 weekdays and only 1 weekend day would be the least crowded. I know with a Fri/Sat/Sun, we'd have more opportunities for F! and fireworks. That's not as high a priority to me as avoiding super high AP crowds, etc., though.

I know it's nitpicking, :scratchin but I'd love some opinions on which set of days you would choose. Thank you!! :goodvibes

We were looking at going down starting on May 3rd or May 6th and in the end I picked the 6th because Bats days are the 3rd to the 5th. Not knowing anything about the scope of this event, but just wanted to avoid scaring our little ones.

I would do Sun - Weds. You get one weekend day for those weekend only entertainment (Fantasmic, Fireworks, etc) and low(er) crowds of the weekdays.

I've been to DL during Bats Week (in May) and did not notice anything out of the ordinary. I would prefer going to DL on Sunday-Wednesday. There are significantly less people on the weekdays...short to no lines for the attractions.

Thank you, everyone! That's exactly what I was leaning towards, as well - Sunday to Wednesday - but it always helps to talk it through with those in-the-know to make sure I wasn't overlooking some vital information or something. :)

Looks like we'll go ahead and plan on Sunday to Wednesday. We were super bummed to have to postpone our August trip, but now we still have the trip to look forward to, right? :thumbsup2 We're actually going to make this a road trip with a few extra days added on to explore the San Diego area. We've never been there before, so it should be fun!

Thanks!
