No, but the kids that are obnoxious and think they are "popular" are usually the ones that get the verbal abuse. thank goodness no-one ever uses physical violence during that though. During spirit week, (1st week in october), the marching band plays, and we have a tradition of hearing all the different classes singing our fight song. the loudest year gets a trophy. one year the freshmen beat the seniors, and there was an uproar. lol.

Haha, my high school (im in middle school though) has freshman beat down day.

Nobody ever gets real beat up, just messing with them & making blocks in the hallway.

I'm just saying...Like I have a lot of senior friends. And I'm sure if a freshman tried to mess with them and fight back if something happened, the upperclassmen would just dish it out much worse.

Not my freshman year (Im homeschooling now). But I was my eighth grade year( I went to a private CHRISTIAN school then) Personnally I found the irony of it hilarious. But I really didnt like the bruises.

I'm just saying...Like I have a lot of senior friends. And I'm sure if a freshman tried to mess with them and fight back if something happened, the upperclassmen would just dish it out much worse.

If they hurt me though, what would happen? They would get suspended and learn their lesson and i could sue them for medical coverage?

i heard no mention of "freshman friday" today in school, so that's a good sign. anyways, its kind of an extreme for upperclassmen to use physical violence on someone for no reason. i'm not worried at all
