OKAY everybody wants to know how the parks compare,
Now keep in mind I am a DIEHARD WDW fan, with well over 15 trips in the last 4 years, mainly because I adore WDWs MK....
it was my very first Disneyland trip and I LOOOOOVED IT!!!
I actually think their MK is better. I cant believe I am saying it!! Unfortunately I think its true..
Their Fantasyland is huge with more attractions, the ones that are the same are better (Peter Pan, Snow White, etc) they also have ALice in Wonderland, Pinnochio, storybook canal ride, MR. TOAD, I spent A LOT of time there.
There is no comparing Space Mountains, theirs is amazing. Their Pirates is so much better. I loved their Haunted Mansion and it was alldecked out for Halloween with the Nightmare before Chrsitmas theming and it was SO good.
There was such an incredible amount of detail everywhere you looked, I really loved that.
Aztecgoods - The first thing I did was run into the park and ride Indy I was SO looking forward to it...and I was REALLY dissapointed. Its the same ride technology as Dinosaur, and EVERYONE swears Indy is so amazing and I really didnt like it. I rode it once that was it, I am good for life. On the other hand I love Dinosaur, and am still scared no matter how many times I ride it. My favorite ride in DL is Space Mountain, my favorite in California adventure was california screamin.
PrincessJasmine - Cali is really worth the trip, we too put it off for years, but I wish we had gone sooner. We actually stayed DIRECTLY across from the parks at the Tropicana Inn and suites....I would compare it to a MOD at WDW. It was a 5 minute walk to the gates of either park, and with
AAA was 109 a nite, not bad
WVParkfan - We just got lucky with a great deal on airfare, otherwise we wouldnt have been able to do it. If we flew out of cali to fla on Friday it was $1280.00 difference, flying to fla on sat was $80.00 difference, so we snagged it and got an AP discount on the AKL. It worked out good.
