Hi, i have looked through some old threads regarding the changes made, i believe some members received emails asking which benefits they would prefer and most treasured the 10% discount, however i never received this email but have had my benefit as they call them changed to something i can find no use for.
I have travelled with Virgin for the last 6 years and to be honest have never found them to be very good but still the cheapest in terms of what i got out of them.
I have booked again with them this year to travel to Orlando in a group of 8 and have contacted them to use our 10% discount to buy our park tickets, but i have been told that i am no longer entitled to the discount as i chose a different option within the club????? I didn't know there were options until today!!!!
And to top it all off the phone number for the Frequent Virgin office now goes through to the regular Virgin Holidays booking office some place over seas!! where i just get lots of "can you hold" and "i'm very sorry Mr Forrest".I just can't get hold of the "Frequent Virgin club" anymore, so i tried to email them, my email to the frequent virgin office came back with last years date on, so that'll stand them in good stead.

Does anyone know who i can contact to find out how i get the right option on my frequent Virgin card????
PLEASE:confused3

Cheers Steve

Just giving this a BUMP for you Steve.

Cheers, i thought someone may have had a few ideas as to who i need to contact, but as yet no joy:confused3

Did you try the FVC between 9am - 5pm Mon-Fri? I spoke to them about a month ago.

Claire ;)

You didn't have to make a choice, you get the choice when you make a booking. You can take 10% or you get free upgrades on cars and things like that. To get 10% you have to have booked 2 holidays within 4 years and spent something like £6000 - have the holiday bookings always been in your name?

Yep we have always booked in my name, and have spent above and beyond the £6000 required, just can't get them on the phone though:confused:

I'm not sure that is entirely true. I know I had an open booking when I received the email from FVC, but I don't think I had just made the booking, but maybe I had.

Anyway, as the head of our family FVC account, I got emailed by the FVC people and told to log onto the FVC website and make my selection - keep the 10% discount, get free airport hotel the night before or free driver service to the airport, and maybe something else. Since I live in London, the "freebies" were pretty pointless, so I stuck with my 10% discount. I did it all online.

The FVC phone number now also takes you straight to India, despite the fact it used to be the only number where you could speak to someone who understood what you were saying! There is a switchboard number for Virgin floating around the UK board somewhere, and from there you can speak to the English people!
