Now that masks are optional indoors for vaccinated guests, I am just trying to understand the practical effect. For indoor rides and queues, are people for the most part unmasked, is it 50/50, or are people still wearing masks for the most part. Obviously, not trying to start a discussion on the policy or effectiveness of masks, but want to know what the atmosphere is like under the new policy.

I’d say 1-2% were wearing masks this past week indoors. Our family was almost always the only ones in any given queue or area.

We just returned and I'd say it was around 85/15, favoring maskless.

At night, ppl. and cms seemed to forget about masks on transportation. I'll be honest we forgot on the monorail after extra hrs. coming back from Epcot. No one said anything to us and the others in the monorail weren't masked either. I remembered as we were pulling into the TTC. We also had an experience like that with the buses at night...although that time we were wearing ours.

Other times cms were always reminding guests as they were getting on transportation.

We were there this past weekend and as we sat masked waiting for the Lion King show to start, I was trying to estimate the percentage and I too came to a 1-2% estimate. You see them, but not very many.

We plan on wearing ours when in crowded situations (waiting in lines, waiting for fireworks, in theaters etc). Friends who just went estimated similarly to the pp's. 85/15.

We will probably wear our masks on indoor ques, but take them off once the ride vehicle starts.

That was my experience, as well.

I would say, though, that nobody "bothered" us about wearing masks: I'd heard horror stories of people visiting the parks with masks and getting bullied or teased, but no one blinked an eye.

Here right now. Less than 10% in masks. Even fewer wearing them right. Which I don’t get. If you are concerned enough to be wearing them voluntarily why aren’t you concerned enough to wear properly?

if are asking about staff it is higher. That may be over 50%

I saw zero bullying or teasing last week. Bullying or teasing someone for wearing a mask would be just as obnoxious as bullying someone for using a wheelchair or scooter; just as you often can’t tell when someone may have a disability, you can’t tell if someone is clinically vulnerable, and even if they are not, and are just being cautious, it’s absolutely none of your business.

I've never heard any reports of anyone getting comments regarding wearing masks that aren't required, or witnessed anything myself.

The mask wearing outdoors (ie - not required) about a month or two ago was quite high. But Omicron numbers were very high then. As that has come down, masks have become less frequent.

It's a very very low % right now, indoors and out. Transportation is hit and miss.
