Thanks to everyone who has shared pictures of this beautiful resort. I had second guessed myself many times, but am confident that I made the right choice. I will be sure to post when we get back!

That looks wonderful! I've never seen a pic of this before. We can't wait - we'll be there June 6 -15! Hope it's not too unbearably hot, so we can enjoy this spot!

Hi Jessica. I'll be there from June 6-13! I hear it's not as hot or humid as it is in late August when I usually travel, and I'm choosing to believe that as it makes me happy. I'm also hoping it's not super busy since it's before some schools let out.

That looks like it could become a favorite spot! I keep discovering more & more reasons to stay at POFQ. This will be our first time there.

Maybe we'll run into each other! Last trip we ran into other Dis-ers at the Beer Garden (Candlelight Processional Package). I'm traveling with my DS 15, my DSis & DN 14. I'll have on some lime green, somewhere, so please say "Hi" if you see us (I have chin-length red hair).

I'm hoping the same thing about the schools. It should definitely be better, temp-wise, than August. I spent a summer in St. Pete many years ago & it was miserable. I've never done an August Disney trip. We usually travel in November, but I promised my son Star Wars Weekends - he's been a fan since age 2!

I can't wait for Disney to post the June calender, so I can see if the tentative schedule I made will work. (I'm not anxious, LOL!) We can make ADR's next weekend - that always makes it more real.

Finally got a chance to get my pics online from our trip Sept 25-Oct 4 at Port Orleans French Quarter.. we were in Building 6 with a Waterview.. I have tons and tons so I'll just try and put in the better ones..

I'll look for you. I'm solo this time, but I'm planning on putting a lime mickey on my fanny pack. I realized about a month after I booked that SWW were at that time, and I'm looking forward to the parade myself! It was a nice surprise even if it makes things more crowded at DHS. I hadn't counted our 90 days yet, so thanks for that news!

Thanks to everyone who posted such great pics. I have never stayed here, DH and I stayed at POR on our only solo trip. We may be making a trip in September, if free dining is offered, and after looking at these pics I think I am going to make a push for this resort.

Keeping my fingers crossed for POFQ and free dining in September...

The food court does seem a little on the scary side. LOL!!!

The food court was much more charming in person than I expected it to be. You have to crank your camera to a fairly extreme angle to get shots of some of the decor and for me it just felt different in person than how it had appeared in all of the pictures I had seen.

Is it sad that I am more excited for the Honeymoon then I am about the wedding....lol June 1 can't seem to come fast enough.
