French Quarter Pool Bar

I haven't stayed at French Quarter for quite a few years. I seem to remember the pool bar only being opened seasonally. Does anyone know if this is still true?

I stayed there in early December 2011 and pool bar was open if I recall correctly.

Been open in November including a couple of overcast / cool days. They have a great staff.

I've seen it close early, but never found it shut down completely.
Very friendly bartenders. Nice pool bar. One of the best pool bars is right next door at POR as a standby.

it doesn't have a "seasonal" close, but will close in cold enough weather. It was closed last sunday, but they opened the inside bar in it's place.

think it depends upon the bar

the ones at BLT, WL, BW - definitely do - not sure about the others.

They were open in December, I can't say for sure if they close seasonally. I only noticed drinks on the menu, no food.
