We are staying BWV and were thinking of having some bread on hand for sandwiches and morning toast. I think I read somewhere that France sold bread? It would be a nice treat, much fresher than store bought and quick and easy to pick up on the way back to the resort.

Gee I always get so mesmerized by the delicious desserts that I never even noticed bread when I've been in there, but allears does show a french baguette on the menu.

Though one look at the size of my hips you could tell instead of bread for morning toast I'd be sidetracked by a Napoleon, cream puff or eclair (or probably all 3!)

Here is a fun read about the bakery with mouthwatering pictures too:

Thanks..... I don't think I will get out of there without a few other treats but this is a nice option.

Yes- they sell it at the French Bakery and will give you butter too! It is our son's favorites along with choc. mousse. If you get it when it's warm out of the oven it may not make it back to the hotel. You may just have to have a little during the walk back..;) :goodvibes

I had this same idea one year....It is rather small, and made with the local water, so not like a traditional baguette, but tasty. I do not remember it as a good size for sandwiches. Sorry to say, but don'twant you to be disappointed.:goodvibes
