I figured there were enough moms on here to get an opinon.

My son wants to carry pudding in his lunch. I couldn't find the kind he likes in the pudding cups, so I decided to make it from the box.

If you guys putting pudding in lunches, how do you get it from not being runny by lunchtime? Can you freeze?

TIA

I'd freeze it! Even if it is still icy, it would be a great treat. I have sent homemade pudding with the boys with one of those chillders wrapped around it. They didn't complain and the container came home.

You could also put it in a thermos - over even make make it in there.

umm I never thought of freezing pudding. What a great idea. You think the little portables can be frozen also? thanks..

pudding is definitely freezable...remember pudding pops? those were just frozen pudding. I've frozen the little portable cups too.

They are great in lunches, just put a frozen one in the lunch bag and it helps keep other stuff cold and it stays fresh until lunchtime. :) Yogurt works too, DD10 loves yogurt (she eats more then I do lol) and we freeze that for her too.
