Never done this before but thought I'd have a go!

Bit of background -This trip was booked on Boxing day, I tried to book in the flash sale that ended just before christmas but the site was down on the last day and they wouldn't do the same price when I phoned up so we missed out on the 50% DLH deal. So I booked the Sequoia Lodge with 40% off, bargain! Then just before we were due to leave another flash sale and the DLH back at the same price as the last flash sale. Many phonecalls later I managed to upgrade us and just pay the difference, delighted wasn't the word! :goodvibes

So for the trip there is the 4 of us, myself early 30's, hubby 38 and our fantastic boys, 7 and 5!

So 7th February we picked the kids up from school at lunch and made the journey down to Ashford where we were booked in at the Premier Inn Central. Usually use the Holiday Inn but read on here about the Premier Inn so decided to try it. Room was good, hotel is having a refurbishment so some disruption but we didn't notice anything. Our room was a refurbished one. Had tea in the Table Table pub next door then were in bed for just after 9 with alarm set for morning.

Breakfast in the Table Table which we had pre booked with room, kids eat free with paying adult. All you can eat, hot food was cooked to order and there was a continental selection to help yourself. All nicely filled up and we popped back to room to get cases and wait for our taxi.

Quick trip in taxi with the worlds grumpiest driver who didn't speak and we were at the terminal. Picked up our tickets at the desk and went straight through check in. Usually hubby bleeps as he goes through metel detector, nothing today not a peep because it was my turn, eeeek! A very stern looking female came over and patted me down and then grunted at me to move on! Bags through fine and we made ourselves comfortable whilst waiting for the boarding call. Boys played on their DS's, godsend!

Boarding call came through just after 10.30am (i think) and we left the scrum to it for 5 minutes then made a slow walk down. We were in carriage 18 so the walk was a long one! Now previously we have booked Leisure Select tickets but this time decided to save the money and use it for spends. We got on the carriage and found no room for our cases, never had that problem in select. Juggled around and squeezed them in. Also our seats were the only free ones on carriage as everyone else already on but people had put their luggage above where we were sitting so really struggled to get our things in. Train left bang on time and we were off............

So settled nicely with boys back on their DS's, hubby on his DS and myself reading a book. Journey whizzed past until our stop at Lille. Train manager came on to say that there was a problem with the battery and the driver was looking at it, maybe changing it and that we should be moving soon. No problem we in the warm, all occupied. Next message saying that there was an engineer on board and they were trying to fix it. Now been sat on a non moving train for half an hour and the next message was that they were trying to work out if we could continue at a reduced speed or if we would have to change trains. Several groans from the carriage at this point. Getting on for having been sat there for an hour when the message no one wanted to hear came over, that we would have to change trains and they were organising it and would update us as soon as possible. The next update came 15 minutes later, so sat not moving for 1 hour 15 mins. Carriages 1-14 would be moved onto the TGV at 2.45pm and to get all their belongings together as they would be leaving the train and being escorted the 10 minute walk to platform. The rest of the train would be on the 3.25 TGV so we had to wait on the train.
By this time it was getting cold, doors were open and people were on and off the carriage a fair bit. Eurostar were offering cups of water! Really hot drinks would have been more appropriate, it was freezing!! We finally left the train at 3pm to walk to the next platform, up some stairs and back down with 2 big cases wasn't ideal! We were told to sit anywhere, which we did, found a table seat same as we had on the Eurostar and made ourselves comfortable.

Until someone else got on with a ticket for the seats we were in! Bit of a nightmare journey as this happened throughout the carriage we were in, some very rude people who made a young couple move. Yes fair enough they had tickets but we were told to sit anywhere, they should have given us seat numbers to sit in. I really don't know how so many people managed to fiit in one carriage, when it stopped at CDG I have never seen so many people trying to board a train, it was chaos.

Anyway after that we finally made it in to Disneyland Station just before 5pm! Tired and fed up but happy to finally be there!

Now very excited we almost sprinted round to the hotel, I couldn't wait to get in and leave our things in the room and dash into the park for the last hour!

Checked in very quickly, I did ask about a Castle Club upgrade and she wrote a figure down and I thought oh that's not bad but turned out that was per night so I declined that!

Room was 3228 and overlooked park, we could see train station and Space Mountain.

Pictures from room and bathroom.

So now ready to grab last 50 minutes in the park! We dashed in and the parade was just about at the top of Main Street, we stood just outside the Dentist and had a good time watching.
http://i1054.photobucket.com/albums/s498/purdy2233/DSC06681.jpg

We nipped into City Hall and got our Disabled Priority Cards for our boys and then rushed down to Buzz.
http://i1054.photobucket.com/albums/s498/purdy2233/DSC06703.jpg
Two goes on here, I still managed to keep my unbeaten record! After Buzz we got a go on Small World and then we walked back out and over to Annette's for tea. Got a table straight away and food was served fast and as per our last visit was good. Boys had fish and chips, I had a rock and roll burger and can't remember what hubby had but it was a burger of some sort! Ice cream for the boys and we shared a cookie ice cream, was yum! Definately get value for money here with shareholders discount.

Will continue tomorrow with our first full day in the parks!

Really looking forward to reading the rest of your trip report! So jealous you got the upgrade and we didn't! LOL! Sorry about the problems getting there, hope it didn't spoil things too much!

xx

DLH I am so jealous! Looking forward to more!

Sounds like a nightmare journey - at least you had the lovely DLH to look forward to!

Yes difficult journey but definately worth the wait getting there! So on with more trip details!

So we woke up just after 8am had showers and got dressed. Have to say there is something totally wonderful about not having to get us all ready with coats, hats, gloves etc to do breakfast! We walked the short walk to breakfast and spotted Pluto doing pictures in the lounge, boys were hungry so we went straight in for breakfast. We were seated immediately in the California Grill side, we loved it as we couldn't believe how civalised it was, being shown to a table, hot drinks served to us. Not used to this in Disney as usually stay at Santa Fe or Cheyenne. We were sat in a little booth area which was nice as there was only us there. We got coffee and hot chocolate and then went straight up to the buffet!

I took a few pictures of the food but only managed to get the cold selection, a few people were getting hot food and I felt a bit of a nutter taking pictures of the food!

http://i1054.photobucket.com/albums/s498/purdy2233/DSC06728.jpg

We filled up on a selection of cereal, bread and pancakes. The pancakes were my favourite.

After breakfast we bumped into Pluto who was greated with a huge hug from the boys!
http://i1054.photobucket.com/albums/s498/purdy2233/DSC06729.jpg

We then spotted Eeyore so they went to wait to have a picture with him.
http://i1054.photobucket.com/albums/s498/purdy2233/DSC06731.jpg
This was a hug but looks like Eeyore has eaten him!!:rotfl:

We then made our way back to our room and got all our layers on and made our way down to the Disneyland Park. We had already agreed that eldest would pick what we were doing for today and youngest would do the same tomorrow! So first stop was........
http://i1054.photobucket.com/albums/s498/purdy2233/DSC06734.jpg

Good choice son! As if we hadn't eaten enough already we had a cookie each, myself and hubby had hot chocolate and boys had a orange juice each. We got ourselves let out and popped into City Hall as it was youngest sons birthday, wanted to get him a birthday badge. The CM we spoke to was lovely, wrote him a badge out and then said come this way, took us into a side room, picked up the phone and handed it to him. We couldn't see his face as he was standing the wrong way round but he turned round after and the biggest grin on his face and he said 'that was awesome, Mickey spoke to me!' Needless to say it made his day, so we headed off down to Buzz and walked straight on, kept my unbeaten record, phew and then headed over to Star Tours.

Youngest is not keen on this to say the least but he came on incase he now liked it! All the CM's who saw him waiting kept wishing him a happy birthday and he got pulled to the side to pick where he wanted to sit in the ship! When we got off he declared he was never going on again!

We nipped over to Small World and had 2 goes back to back, boys wanted a third but hubby put his foot down!
http://i1054.photobucket.com/albums/s498/purdy2233/DSC06745.jpg
Look at all the ice on there!

We came away and walked sadly past Dumbo as it was closed due to weather, we didn't ride this on our last trip, no particular reason but boys wanted to do it this time so were sad it was shut. Peter Pan was due to be open on Saturday so we carried on walking and went to Pirates so hubby and eldest could ride. Youngest is scared stiff of this after an accident where he bumped his lip first time he rode so now he won't go anywhere near it! We caught the end bit of Peter Pan's Follow the Leader. So that kept us entertained whilst they were on Pirates.

After Pirates we went to BTM and myself and eldest went on. OMG it was so cold, the wind literally stung our cheeks. I had my hands over my face all through it and although I love this ride I was glad to be off!

Hubby took some pictures whilst we rode, the lake was pretty frozen!
http://i1054.photobucket.com/albums/s498/purdy2233/DSC06756.jpg

Headed over to Phantom Manor next. Which we all went on.
http://i1054.photobucket.com/albums/s498/purdy2233/DSC06754.jpg

It was about 12.30 now and as boys were starting to get a bit peckish we headed back to the room for some snacks and a drink to warm us up!

Day 1 Part 2 coming up!

We filled up nicely on the goodies I brought with us, nice hot drink for us all too. Definately worth taking the kettle with all our travel bits!

Decided to head over to the Studios next. Walked the short walk over there and as we were putting our tickets in the CM at our gate shouted 'Happy Birthday' to our youngest and said come this way birthday boy. So we all walked over with him to the Studio Services where he spoke to another CM and then handed DS the phone. It was so funny as he was trying to say I've already spoken to Mickey but I don't think he quiet understood what DS was saying! DS came away with a balloon model sword too that someone in there was making. He also made one for eldest which was nice! There was a huge otcopus hat and they wanted DS to take that but could you imagine trying to get on rides with it?!! We suggested he leave that for someone else which he was happy to do!
http://i1054.photobucket.com/albums/s498/purdy2233/DSC06758.jpg

Then spent most the afternoon with both boys fighting each other with their swords and a lot of CM joining in was good fun!

We headed over to one of my favourite rides, Terror Tower and I went on it with eldest. So funny I laughed all through it, the CM's were brilliant in here as always and we both enjoyed the ride. Although eldest said he was never going on it again!

Then popped over to Toystory Playland so we could do Parachute drop and Slinky. The queue for Parachutes was 20 minutes and knowing this would cause major problems for eldest we decided to use our Disabled Priorty Card. The CM checked it and said fine wait here for next ride, when it finished another CM came over and asked for our card, which I had put away so I had to dig it out, he looked at it and said no sorry you can't ride. Now he said it with a huge grin on his face so I thought he was joking. On the new rules of the card the reason we had the card was one that was recommended you can't ride. He said we were welcome to join the queue but he couldn't let us on the priorty way. Now I totally understand rules etc but the reason we have the pass is because DS can't manage queues and noisy, busy, crowded places so the 20 minute wait would have caused us major problems so we came away from this a bit dissapointed really. He also told me that we wouldn't be able to use the pass on Crush either, so that was a bit of a dissapointment as it's the only way we would be able to manage it. (I did check the book we got given when we got our card and going by that we would have been able to ride Crush with the card but we never went to it. DS didn't want to go on it, I think because the CM had said he couldn't)

So after our Parachute dissapointment we went on Slinky, 5 minute walk on, but we literally walked straight on it, 3 times! Great ride, I remember the first time we did it last year thinking it would be a slow tame ride but it's not, always has us all in fits of giggles, but think it's over far too quickly!
http://i1054.photobucket.com/albums/s498/purdy2233/DSC06763.jpg

After feeling a wee bit dizzy we went over for the Car Stunt show. We have seen this every time we have been, usually more than once, the boys love it :yay: and they couldnt wait to see the newest member of the cast!
http://i1054.photobucket.com/albums/s498/purdy2233/DSC06775.jpg
It was freezing watching this, the wind was literally like ice being blown directly on us. A lot of people were leaving long before it was the end. We sat it out somehow and desperately needed to warm up!

We just timed it right for a English version of Stitch so we went into this. Always makes us laugh, thankfully neither me or DH got picked this time, although youngest made a pretty good monkey!!

The monkey decided he wanted another go on Buzz, so we went back in just before the parade was starting so we hot footed in down the arcade and straight out and through the few people waiting for the parade and we walked straight onto Buzz. Now I was extremely dissapointed when I got off this, somehow, no idea how it happened, but it did, I lost my unbeaten record, hubby beat me!! Never lived it down for the rest of the trip!!

Boys were hungry after this so we headed back to the room for a snack and a warm up. We watched some telly, bathed the boys and had a quick shower and change ourselves then we headed into the Village for tea. Birthday boys choice so we went to Annette's again. Boys had fish and chips, I had an onion burger, hubby rock and roll burger, no pudding for us but boys had ice cream! We also got to see some singing and dancing this visit!
http://i1054.photobucket.com/albums/s498/purdy2233/DSC06781.jpg

Had a quick look in some of the shops, have to say that staying in the DLH we did slightly miss the walk back we normally do after eating, wandering in and out the shops. But we didn't miss the walking in the cold!!

Coming up day 2!

I'm sure Rach will add it in to our TR but,

We had exactly the same problem getting on the para drop ride with the 'card' - although when I said we would try the q he said we couldn't ride at all due to DS condition and unfortunately he had seen us in and so if we queued up he would still have to refuse us the ride. :scared1:

Similar happened with the main park 'slow train' as the disabled car was full at frontierland, they said we would have to wait for the next train in 15 mins (having been there 10 mins already), I said, no problem - we'll just get in the standard passenger car. Denied
I guess they are only allowed 1 'disabled' passenger per trip.

Lets hope DS's school doesn't think to organise a trip there.

Managed the para drop the next day in the q though :woohoo:,:rolleyes1 but I had to use every trick in the book to last the 40mins. I think it is the worst Disney ride for loading / unloading. 90 secs of ride and 5 min turnaround.

You can use the card on the Crush ride, although if you are not good with 'spinny' rides, avoid. First go, full car, not too bad. Second go, just me and DS, off balance and so span like a whirling dervish on speed - I came off , he loved it.

Anyway, loving the trip report :cheer2:

Yes we have done Crush on previous visits, me and eldest. Am pretty sure the only reason he wouldn't do it this time is because he had heard that CM say we wouldn't be able to use the card. We didn't even go and try as he kept saying no to it! It is a ride he likes as we have done Alton Towers and they have Sonic Spinball which is similar.

Well done on completing the 40 mins, I can totally understand how frazzled you must have been at the end of it!

Glad your enjoying reading!

Omg that breakfast looks amazing. I sooo want to stay at DLH now. I love how the hotels are at DLP, great for popping back to warm up!

I am really enjoying your trip report, it sounds like you had a great time despite the journey. Glad the parachute disappointment didn't spoil your day.

I forgot to mention yesterday when we nipped back to our room for a warm and some snacks I found the mini bar open and I could see straight away a bag of crisps had been taken. I had taken a picture of mini bar so hubby did beleive me! Our room hadn't been cleaned so I said someone has been in room. I asked when we went back out at reception and he said it was normal for the door to be open and that they would have just been filling it! I didn't really think it felt right at all and I wanted to ask to move rooms, but hubby thought I was being daft. Nothing else had moved or our stuff been touched but I just had this feeling. Anyway supposidly all was well with mini bar so I left it!

We were up about the same time as yesterday and straight down to breakfast. It was literally a 2 minute walk from our room which was on the same floor. When we got to the lounge it was Minnie so youngest had a picture with her and then we went to get seated for our breakfast. Today we sat in the opposite side in Inventions right in the furthest part away from the buffet. Big space with lots of tables, it was actually lovely looking at all the bits on display in there. We filled up again on similar to yesterday, the pancakes went down a treat! :rotfl: When we left Mickey had joined Minnie so the boys both went for a picture with them both. We brought this picture as it was so nice of them both. We then nipped back and got all our gear on for going into the park.

We got in the park just after 9.30 and we took a slow walk down Main Street, we were delighted to hear the Dentist, thought it was hilarious. Never heard it before on previous trips!
http://i1054.photobucket.com/albums/s498/purdy2233/DSC06799.jpg

Today was youngests turn to choose rides so first stop was Buzz. As the park didn't open until 10 we had to wait for rope drop which was just outside the shop by Buzz. We got chatting to a lovely CM, boys asked when Autopia would be open and he said at 10.30. He also had some of the hotties hand warmers and he gave the boys one each. He was then delighted when I gave him 2 new packets, I had brought a box from Costco worth every penny! I said you need them more than us you will be in the cold all day, could see he was genuinely touched! Rope drop and we dashed to Buzz was a CM there who said to the boys you space rangers need to follow me, so we did, first in the queue! Once inside she pointed out to the boys a hidden Mickey, which delighted them! We had to wait about 5 minutes when we got to the front while it seemed they were doing paperwork? Lots of CM's with clipboards and pens. Then they all gave thumbs up and we got the first ride of the day, also I got my lead back, I got highest score, phew! :goodvibes

After this boys wanted to do Autopia and seeing as it was 10.15 I said we could wait so we went over and stood by the entrance, first ones waiting, hubby took eldest for a wander and brought him back just before 10.30. So not only did we get first ride of the day on Buzz but also on Autopia! Plus it was it's first day open as it had been closed! Again we were instructed to follow a CM, not sure if it's so theres no mad rush as the rides open.
http://i1054.photobucket.com/albums/s498/purdy2233/DSC06801.jpg
Here they all were waiting for us all!
http://i1054.photobucket.com/albums/s498/purdy2233/DSC06805.jpg
Now the car we got in was literally frozen solid! The seat was iced over totally and in the corner there was a huge puddle of ice! So we both got wet bums!
Our car and look at that queue already!
http://i1054.photobucket.com/albums/s498/purdy2233/DSC06807.jpg
When we had been round they were wiping all the seats before people got in, shame they didn't do that on ours!
Hubby and youngest just before they got off!
http://i1054.photobucket.com/albums/s498/purdy2233/DSC06814.jpg

After riding Autopia we were pretty cold and damp so decided it would be good to go to Salon Mickey and warm up! So off we went. Boys love knocking on the door to get in. They both picked a cookie and me and hubby had a pain au chocolat. Boys went straight for orange juice and a water each whilst we both had a hot chocolate. Did the job warmed us up lovely! Bumped into Rachandgarry here, was lovely having a natter, hubby thought I was mad when I said to him I'm sure their off the boards! Boys were delighted with the chocolate coins that were shared with them by their lovely young man. Thank you!

We headed out Salon Mickey and over to the Studios as youngest wanted to do Slinky again!

Day 2 part 2 to follow!

Fab trip report, looking forward to reading the rest!

So back into the Studios we headed and before Slinky we went in and watched Animagique, love this it's so entertaining and the tune so catchy!! :lmao: After this we walked straight onto the Flying Carpets which the boys always enjoy taking us right to the top and we get to tip it back and forwards!
http://i1054.photobucket.com/albums/s498/purdy2233/DSC06832.jpg

After this we headed to the Cars Rally and had a small wait. We sat in one car which is always a struggle seem to have legs bent in a funny angle. Anyway we all enjoy this ride it always spins so fast and makes us all laugh!

We got over to Slinky and had 2 rides on this as there was no queue. Youngest loves this and it does spin so fast when theres only 2 of us in the seats you slide about all over! :) Time was getting to about 2pm and we hadn't eaten any lunch so decided to go into the village and get a McDonalds. So walked out and over there but it was manic so we came back out. Gave the boys a snack to keep them going and eldest decided he wanted to go on PanaraMagique so we walked over but discovered it was closed due to the wind. Which we hadn't noticed any wind blowing but could see the wind sock was blwoing lots.
http://i1054.photobucket.com/albums/s498/purdy2233/DSC06818.jpg

Pretty hungry now so we hot footed it back into the Studios and grabbed 2 burger meals and a chicken nugget meal for the boys to share. Just inside Studio 1. It wasn't very nice and I didn't feel to good later after eating mine.

Decided there was nothing else we wanted to do in the Studios so we nipped back next door and we walked up Main Street and through the castle.
http://i1054.photobucket.com/albums/s498/purdy2233/DSC06839.jpg
View down from the castle bridge!
http://i1054.photobucket.com/albums/s498/purdy2233/DSC06823.jpg
Still not strong enough!! :rotfl:
Headed over to Small World and again we walked straight onto the ride. Boys shouted hello home as we passed under London Bridge!
http://i1054.photobucket.com/albums/s498/purdy2233/DSC06846.jpg

We were pretty tired now so decided to head back to the room and chill out for a while before getting some tea. So we headed back, boys had a bath each and I lay on the bed reading my book, hubby played his DS. Boys wanted to go to Planet Hollywood for tea so that's where we went. I wasn't keen, not eaten here before but have in other locations and never been impresed to be honest. For what we had it was fine though, boys had crunchy chicken, hubby a burger and I had a pizza. Best thing was we noticed how busy the village was and we walked straight in here, the queue at Annette's was huge! Seemed to be a lot more people abround tonight.

Came straight out of Planet Hollywood and back to room all very tired today and we were all pretty much asleep in minutes!

Last day to follow!

Really enjoying your trip report!

Planet Hollywood is somewhere I've never considered eating at before. I've heard lots of people say the tables are really close together in there so you feel like you're sat with other families - did you find that?

So our final day was finally here. We had planned (when I say we I mean me!) that we would get into the park for 8am as it was EMH plus we also knew that being a Saturday it would be busy too. So I had set my alarm for 7.30! Alarm went off I dived outta bed switched it off and I got showered and dressed. Boys fast on still and hubby moaning about the alarm. Wouldn't mind but rest of week we have all been up and awake by 7.30! Typical. :rotfl:
The plan was to go into the park at 8, do the EMH rides as Peter Pan would be open for first time today so that was on our must do. Then we were going to head to Salon Mickey about 9.30 and go back to hotel for a late breakfast. As we literally couldn't wake the boys we left them sleeping until just after 8 then went straight for breakfast. Chip and Dale were in the lounge but boys didn't want a picture so we went straight in. We were seated right in the entrance area which I found strange as there was lots of empty table opposite the buffet. But we didn't mind as we had a lovely view in the parks. Could see a fair few people milling around already which I was slightly dissapointed about as I had so wanted to be one of the first into the park!

Breakfast eaten we went back to room and got our coats etc on and off we went! Cases were all packed up and left in room ready for them to collect for us and take to the station. I whizzed down to check out and gave in room card, he asked which room number, tapped at his keyboard and asked did you use the mini bar? So I said no, he said ok fine all done. I will still keep an eye on my credit card bill as I don't want to be charged nearly 5 euros for a bag of crisps we didn't eat!

Boys were all waiting for me by Salon Mickey which we said we would pop back later so off we went into the park. Walked up Main Street, checked out the wait times, eeeek, never seen times over 30 minutes before but Peter Pan was 40 and Buzz was the same and it was just past 9am! So we dashed round to Peter Pan and used our Priority cards here. The CM wouldn't let us ride as a 4 so we had to go in 2 seperate boats, we had to wait for hubby and youngest to ride before we could go. Even though I pointed out they had no one else in the boat with them they wouldn't do it. :confused3

Youngest wanted yet another go on Small World and Buzz so we went and did Small World first. It was definately the coldest day of our trip today and am sure there was way more ice around.
http://i1054.photobucket.com/albums/s498/purdy2233/DSC06849.jpg
It was about a 10 minute wait for Small World which was fine but oh so cold!

We then made it to Buzz just before 10am and again used our priorty cards as the queue was showing 40 minutes. Eldest wanted another go on Thunder Moutain so we nipped over but found it was closed, due to the cold we were told and to come back later on. So we decided to go to Salon Mickey as we were freezing, so off we went. It was much busier in there today, with one small table free with 2 seats. A young lady approached us and offered to swap tables as she had one with 3 seats, which I though was nice of her to offer. So we warmed up nicely with hot chocolate, cookies and pain au chocolate!

Now we never really noticed the cold much apart from when we watched the cars show but today it was noticable colder, we still had all our layers on but all the boys wanted to do was stay warm, so we spent as much of they day as we could indoors! We headed back to Thunder Mountain and found it was still closed so we decided to ride Phantom Manor, I like this too as it's nice and warm inside!

Thunder Mountain still not open so said we would try and get back later on. Headed over to the studios and we walked straight into Anamagique which kept us nicely warm for a short time. We came out and decided to try Toystory Playland. It was much busier in both parks today so I wasn't sure if we would manage any rides. As we walked over Buzz was doing pictures in the Toon Studio part and there was no queue! Well soon discovered that he was going and would be back in 5 minutes so boys wanted to wait. There was one other english family infront of us. It was only 5 minutes too and he came back but also had some fun with Mickey who was on the other side. The kept moving a barrier between them which was really funny, not sure it comes accross the same in pictures though!

After all the playing around I took a picture for the family infront as there didn't seem to be a CM around. Then it was boys turn but eldest decided he wasn't bothered!

Buzz was great and really interacted lovely with him, lots of high 5's!
So full of the delights of Buzz we walked over to Playland and found huge queues! Boys didn't want to wait for Slinky even in the Priority queue, there was about 20 people waiting there. So we came away and boys decided they wanted another go on Autopia so off we went!

We walked straight onto this with our priority pass and was fun as always although it blinking hurts when someone crashes into the back of you!

Youngest decided he wanted another turn so he went with hubby to queue as he wanted to go in a car on the other track, hubby decided he could manage to keep him occupied so me and eldest headed to Star Tours. It had a 10 minute wait so we joined the queue but it ended up being about 25 minutes so I was glad to be finally on it as eldest was getting more and more worked up anout the waiting and the noise. Hubby and youngest had been waiting for us for about 10 minutes outside Buzz. They didn't want to ride again so we thought it would be a good time to see if Thunder Mountain was open. It was with a 40 minute wait so me and eldest used our prority pass. There was already someone waiting so we were told 5 minutes. Lots more people with passes came and joined the queue and were waiting behind us. Now I did get very annoyed here as the took the people infront of us to ride so it was us next, but they took people from behind us to ride first!! Now my son was becoming upset as he didn't understand why he couldn't go, when I asked I was told you next but they did it again meaning of course more upset for my boy. I was getting pretty mad to, the only difference in us was that we spoke english all the other people behind us were speaking French, they had the same passes as us as I saw them. We finally got on after a 20 minute wait and loved the ride but I wasn't impressed with the CM's on this at all. As we came off I realised we still had our hotel fast passes, hadn't used them in the week been no need and I should have used them today for this. Quickly asked my boy if he wanted another go he didn't so I gave them to the 4 girls behind us who were delighted. Turned out one of them had same name as me so they thought that was great too!

We headed over to Peter Pan again as we like this ride, used our passes and were all put on together, after last time the CM not allowing it, it was fine this time. :confused3 Eldest went with hubby to do pirates and I went with youngest to do Snow White and Pinocchico, we had 5 minute wait for both of these. Met up with hubby and eldest again and we went over to Toad Hall for some food. Ate here a couple of years ago and remembered it was nice, I didn't think much of it today though. Fish and chips but the fish tasted funny, may have just been me though as hubby and boys loved it. Boys shared one and there was plenty there for them. We stayed in here about an hour and came out just after 4pm. We hadn't been on the railroad so decided to go on that but boys wanted to get on it at Main Street. So we walked up and literally just missed one, not to worry next one in 5 minutes. So we stayed and waited. Train did arrive after 5 minutes, we got on and waited for the off. It never moved for half an hour whilst we were sat on it, it was just after 5pm now so we decided it would be best to get off, didn't want to miss the Eurostar.
So we headed out the park and off to get our cases, all picked up fine, we checked in and went straight down to the train. Boys got there DS's same as hubby and I had my book to finish. Train left on time and we made it home in one straight run, phew! Taxi was waiting for us when we came out and we were taken back to the Premier Inn at Ashford where we had left car. We checked in room and left cases there and went back over to the Table Table for some tea. Had this and went upto room we were dreaming Disney all night!

Trip home to follow!

Really enjoying your trip report!

Planet Hollywood is somewhere I've never considered eating at before. I've heard lots of people say the tables are really close together in there so you feel like you're sat with other families - did you find that?

Yes it was very cramped but we had a round booth type table so it was fine. The only thing I didn't like about that was that it was right next to the kicthen and it was freezing everytime someone came in the door!
