Freezer Meals for Kitchen Remodel?

Do you have/could you fit in a crockpot? Many good meals come from a crockpot, and there are likely to be ones on sale for Black Friday for $20 or less. You could prep the night before, put it in the fridge, then plug in the next morning.

Ah! I didn't realize. I bought an instapot a few years back, tried a couple recipes, was less than happy with it. I still have it, but never use it.

In any event, when we did a to-the-studs remodel, we worked with a convection/toaster oven, microwave, electric skillet, and crockpot. But, there's more of us, and we're less picky than the OP about processed food (that's not a criticism--I should do better!). We also live in North Carolina, so grilling/smoking were great options. If the OP is somewhere north, she might not want to be grilling during a blizzard!

I love to cook my hotdogs in the air fryer the outsides get a nice little crisp to the skin.

if a kitchen remodel entails limited sink access I highly recommend disposable air fryer filters (they look similar to coffee filters)-they cut down the cleaning to wiping vs. full submersion of the unit.

I might try this in a loaf pan. We only have one casserole dish that fits in the air fryer and I don't want to tie it up in the freezer.

the dollar store sells the identical oven safe small heavy foil pans that grocery stores and meal order plans utilize for ready to cook meals. I've taken to making smaller freezer ready items in them (and was surprised when one ended up in the dishwasher vs. being tossed and it was entirely reusable). they run 3 for $1.25.
