You get the new 4th pin just for logging on. Here is quote from newsletter:

"we'll be celebrating Independence Day by giving everyone who enters the game a snazzy 4th of July Pin!"

i dont think the calendar was ' updated ' I think staff already knew what was going to happen tomorrow

I wonder if they're actually be fireworks like in the fireworks lobby.


Maybe they'll have those alice carpets so we can sit on them with picnic benches or beach chairs!

I think by that they mean anyone who logs in tomorrow not anyone who rides but I could be wrong.

Good catch! I won't be around tho - hopefully there's not anything too cool they give out. Someone should take screen shots, hint hint.

Sounds very very cool, but don't they realize that people have plans for the holiday, like heading out for the afternoon/evening and watching REAL fireworks instead of being on the computer? Arg! I'm disappointed I'll miss out, but don't think friends and family would understand if I tried to rush home just to get on VMK for this event.

Somebody please take snapshots. I'm so intrigued by this and definitely will not be around at all during those hours to ride.
