Freecycle

Would it be against the board rules (or is it already here somewhere) to start a Freecycle style thread where people can post things they want to give away? I know it may not work logistically since the receiver would have to pay shipping in most cases, but it was just a thought.

Usually if someone has something they want to give away, they just start a one-off thread for it. There's also a "swap" thread (I forget which board it's on.) I've sent off some Disney vacation leftovers (ponchos, refillable mugs, that sort of thing) using the trip-planning board, since that way it would be more likely to get re-used by someone actually planning to go there.
