i have some large items i have been trying to get rid of for months-and was dreading having to rent a truck to haul it to goodwill (none of our local charities do pick up by appointment).

i posted these items on freecycle and in less than 8 hours i have takers who are picking them up today!

i'm going to start going through the house and garage and making a list to do some more postings-i am not a garage sale person and this is an awsome way to clear out and clean up!

I've got acquaintances on an adoption message board who swear by freecycle! One gal has gotten so much for her little boy just through freecycle!

I love it too! I do NOT eBay. It's just too much hassle for me and some stuff I'd rather just give away! It's really great for cleaning out the house, plus it's just a nice thing to do.

I use to Freecycle but quit. I had lots of pickups scheduled but they were all no shows. The good stuff listed that I was interested in kept going to the same people. Now if I want something I just buy it and save myself alot of time.

I've gotten rid of a few things, but there's been a crock pot on my front porch for a week now. The taker keeps telling me her husband will pick it up.
