Isn't it sad? I remember when we bought our SUV in 2001 and were bemoaning that it cost $35 to fill up! Just last month it was costing us $85! Hope the price stays down under $3 for a while.

Hopefully not that soon! I heard on the radio that the prices we're seeing now (hovering around $3) are from oil that was bought at $120/barrel. Oil today sold for about $70/barrel - so in a couple of weeks we should see the gas produced with that $70/barrel oil.

When the stock market drops, the oil also drops, when the stock market recovers, the price of oil also rises.
