Because men are great at this. Some men have this 'gift' that when they did something wrong they can turn it around and make you feel miserable. If this kind of behavior starts when you are, I believe you said, 4 months into the relationship, each year it will get worse.

On the other hand I was so excited this afternoon when I got the Senco email, and raced over to here to post and was beaten to it... drat it!
So a very big thanks to all you that do find the freebies, I only get 1 out of 10... I think they get "lost" in the mail....

You should go for it - how fun would that be? No pressure...just a lunch or something mellow. If nothing else, it would be a nice diversion and you may make a new friend - or at least have someone to wave at when you visit AK.

I have been a volunteer at our local domestic violence shelter for women for years. Cancelling your flight and bidding him goodbye was probably the best thing you could do for yourself.

The behavior you describe has "markers" of a batterer. It starts out with unfounded jealousy, attempts to manipulate and the woman usually ends up feeling like she "caused" it.

And NO ONE has the right to call you names and use the "F"word with you.

I think you made a good choice, and consider yourself lucky that you got out early!

Ohh- for me the Senseo machine was WELL worth it! I am the only coffee drinker in the house, so it is perfect for me! Like ACLOV said, the thing sells for $70 at Walmart- so save it for a gift if you won't use it! I absolutely love mine. And, you can make hot tea with it. Walmart also sells this thing called "my pod" for $10 so you can use your own coffee and not buy the pods. Oh, and Super Target sells generic pods by Archer Farms!!
