Free wifi in DLH rooms?

Is there free wifi in the rooms at Disneyland hotel that my kids could access from their iPads? Does it work well or is it very slow? Trying to decide if the iPads are worth dragging along?

Yes, there is free wifi in the rooms at DLH. We were just there the beginning of the month and had no difficulty using it.

Stayed in a Standard View room last month. Hoped that the WiFi signal would be strong enough for me to stream Netflix on my iPhone while my Wife and daughter slept - turned out that the signal wasn't even strong enough for me to stream radio.

Found the signal to be slightly better in the lobby, but it still took me about an hour and a half to download an audiobook, which would normally take about 6-8 minutes at home.

thats awesome to hear it's free wifi

we stayed at teh Hyatt on Harbour Blvd a month ago and they charge $15/day for ONE connection. we could access via one laptop at a time. Since bith my wife and i brough ours for work and the ipad for the kids was just slightly annoying that they charged $15/day per connection.

My DH would be the better one to answer this, but when we travelled to Mexico, we brought our wireless router from home. It isn't very big. We used the wired internet to connect to his laptop and then used the wireless for our iPads, iPods etc.

This is a little off topic but I laughed when I read post title and thought I'd share this funny story.

Free WiFi became available at McDonalds restaurants here in Canada sometime last year. My daughters work there. A little old lady came in soon after all the signs were up advertising the free WiFi.......she said to my daughter ......I will have one of those free weefees to go please!!!!! My daughter managed to keep a straightface while she patiently tried to explain what free WiFi meant
