Free Wi-Fi for members at OKW

I know this question has been asked before but we are leaving in a few weeks and we were wondering if the Wi-Fi is still free at OKW for members??

The internet connection is wired, not wireless. But yes, it is free for anyone staying on points.

You can make it wireless using a small travel router if you need to. We use an Apple airport express for this purpose.

Thanks for the info. Do you have to inform them that you are staying on point or do they know this by your reservation?? I assume they should know but you never know.

Wife just informed me that we are also going to Vero for a couple of days, does this also apply for there??

Yes VB does offer free internet to members staying on points. They will know if you're a DVC member or not (so long as you're not paying for a stay made thru CRO). At VB it's mostly Wi-Fi although some if not all of the beach cottages have a wired access too.

I believe as long as your in the resort you will have the internet service. I don't think they will differentiate between a DVC member and someone who is paying for the room.

If you booked your villa via CRO, then internet access is $9.95/day at the WDW resorts.

It may be different for HHI and VB, but internet access is not free at WDW resorts (including the DVC resorts) if you book for cash through CRO.
