Free water stations at AK 09/17/2017

Here now...I've now seen free water stations outside of Tusker House and inside Starbucks at AK. Totally accessible, cold water dispensers with ample size cups. Awesome surprise! P.S. The water tastes great like it came from a bottle.

We loved the bottle filling station in the Navi' River Journey queue. A really nice surprise!!

Disney should just put in water bottle fill stations and tell people to bring their own bottles with them. Would cut down on the cost of cups.
Our Zoo put them in 2 years ago even though they are losing money from not selling water. They say it was the right thing to do for the environment!

This may be a stupid question, but do they have cups or do you have to bring your own mug/bottle to fill?

They have cup available right next to the dispensers.
Also they have water dispensers oasis of Tony's, Crystal Palace and Hollywood and Vine restaurants

Thanks. I've read that you could go ask for a cup at QS places, but was unaware of these. Will come in handy as we will be making our first summer trip next August (we usually go January/February, so drinking water isn't such a necessity).

There were also dispensers on the bridge going into BOG and right inside the door at Sci Fi in July. (They provided those paper cone cups.)

A lot of the QS locations have cups sitting out ready to take all during the summer.
These cups are filled with water from the soda machine, so it's filtered water.
And it is rather common for the TS locations, especially the buffets like CP, TH, etc in the parks to have dispensers outside near the check in points with water there for guests to drink. Usually some near Tony's at MK too. No cups but they can be used to fill a bottle

Gaston's Tavern had dispensers of ice water with cups as well a couple weeks ago

We saw the water dispensers several places last week. When we were standing in line at Columbia Harbor House, I asked a CM if they had one there (they didn't) and mentioned how great they were. She said they were just seasonal and would be going away after summer was over. I'm not sure that I believe that because I think having them saves the counter service CMs time.

Saturday - big cooler dispenser of ice cold water outside of Satuli (right by the doors) with plenty of plastic cups

I have been to Disney in June, July and August and this by far was the most humid time I have ever experienced. It was practically airless at time

Man, I hope they keep these in place for our March trip. Drinking water is not just important during summer temperatures - most people are chronically dehydrated. I've been trying to plan how to keep our water bottles filled in the parks. It's encouraging that it may be easier than I was expecting.
