...today for Earth Day if you bring in 3 empty plastic bottles for recycling.
Has anyone else done this yet? My 3 each brought in 3 empty bottles so they each got a plastic Disney water bottle, but it is made with #7 plastic! The number #7 is often used for polycarbonate, which is made with bisphenol-A (potentially not good), but it can also be used for other types of plastic.
I asked the Disney Store employee about it and she said that they got some literature about the bottles saying they were BPA-free. When she looked for it, she couldn't find it. If anyone else goes to get the bottles, would you be willing to ask exactly what kind of plastic the bottles are made out of?
