I noticed there is a gap between Pipperdoodle and Fire14

Sep /19 - Sep /25 Pipperdoodle (Music)
Sep /28 - Oct/01 Fire14 (Movies)

We will be @ Sports from the 23rd to the 29th ... i know it is short notice, but .. can i be put in to fill that gap from the 25th to the 28th?

I'm fine with it but I will claim fridge on 28th.

of course Fire! that wouldn't be a problem -- of course if Pipperdoodle isn't around, your regular arrangement with them stands.. I have no intentions of affecting the existing dates.

I have added you as reserve for the dates . You will need to make at least 10 posts before you will be able to PM your immediate swappers to exchange details and make arrangements so I would suggest you start posting so you are ready if I am able to offer you the dates . As soon as I let you know that you can take over the dates (I have given the original holder until the end of September to respond to my messages) I will need you to send my your full name (if it is not Dale Jackson ) , reservation number and cell phone number by PM and also to bob6sims so he can label the fridge for you. I will contact you either way as soon as I know whether the dates are available or not. Please keep a close eye on your messages as I will need you to respond immediately due to the time factors (bear in mind I am in the UK and there are time zone differences as well).

You're very welcome...and congratulations on your 10 posts . Yes, it does take up a lot more time than I thought it would but when I get messages like yours, it makes it all worth while. I know how grateful I was when I was able to borrow a fridge for the 3weeks I was at ASMu in 2009 and 2 weeks this year. It saved me an absolute fortune. So I'm really glad to try and help others too

Just wanted to pop in to say thanks again, Blue Fairy, for keeping this swap running successfully for so long! Pick up and drop off went seamlessly. Only regret I have is I caught some awful thoat/virus thing my second day there and had trouble tasting and swallowing all the wonderful things we ate there. I heard a lot of people coughing, so I'm thinking something was definetly going around. Regardless, Blue Fairy , thanks for all your hard work, and please add me to the swap for next Sept- 9/7-9/17/12. There is an extremely slight possibility we may need Aug, but I'll let you know if there's a change.

Thank you frannn for posting and letting us know how the swap went. I am so sorry though to hear of your throat infection. I can't imagine a worse time to pick up such a virus with so many goodies around you to eat. I hope it didn't spoil your enjoyment too much. I will add you to the list for September and if you can let me know as soon as possible if you want August as there are a few dates booked in August already. I'm so glad that the swap was a success for you and that you are going again

Unless someone leaves a pack of wipes in the fridge for the next user, there won't automatically be any provided so it is always best to bring some of your own. There is no obligation to leave any wipes with the fridge but if you would rather not cart any left over wipes, back home with you, I am sure future users would be very grateful to find some in the fridge. I cannot speak for anyone else but I had taken a small travel pack of 10 wipes with me from the UK and used them all to clean the fridge out. If there been some wipes left inside, I would have left the ones I brought with me inside the fridge for the next person to use rather than cart them all the way back to the UK.
It is always better though to assume there isn't any and to bring some with you.

Since we'll be at movies, do we just send DH over to sports with the car to pick it up, or do we ask movies to call sports and have them bring it over? And then same thing at the end- do we take it back over there or have them do it? We'll have a car, so we can do either. What I did was drove over to music and got it and left it at sports.I had made these arrangements with swappers before and after me, so I'd say best bet is get with swappers before and after and make arrangements o where to pick up/ leave fridge.
