If you are staying in an All Star value resort and you would like a free fridge for your stay, check our list on page 1, post #2 of this thread and see if your dates are available. If they are, post on our thread or send me a PM to be added to the list. We have lots of dates open for March and April as well as many in the summer months. I'm looking forward to hearing from you

At this moment in time, I am hoping that the "All Stars Fridge Swap Take 2" fridge is still in circulation. I have not heard from anyone recently and I am having difficulties getting in touch with people as they are not answering my messages. Fingers crossed all is well but I will keep you all updated.

Please can I just ask that if you want to take part in this swap, you must, in all fairness to those still waiting on the list for their turn, let me know if your plans change and you no longer want to use the fridge.

Please can you also get in touch with me if you are having problems getting your immediate swappers details. Please do not leave for your trip without knowing the details for your label for the next person.

Also, if you are not prepared to let me have your details, then I cannot let you join the swap. I have no details for a swapper on the list at the moment despite asking for them, and it has left it that the fridge is in danger of being lost. You need to keep in touch with me if you are on the list because as swap coordinator, if I do not have your details, I cannot step in to help if things go wrong.

At this moment in time, we do not have a coffee maker but we have been offered one by a very kind swapper after their trip in September so a coffee maker may well be included in the swap by the time you go.

***I must warn all swappers that at this moment in time, the fridge may be lost. Although recent swappers have been given a fridge off Disney, it seems like Disney have been handing out any fridge. I have a helpful swapper who is going in May and who is taking a photo of our fridge to show luggage services. Hopefully from the photo, Disney will recognise our fridge and we will get it back. If not, then sadly the swap will end. I am optimistic though and will continue to add names to the list for future dates on the understanding that if the fridge is not found, then I will have no option but to close the swap. I will keep everyone informed and updated by posting on this thread***

Thank you monkey30. It is such a shame about our fridge. Please can I just warn you that Disney are giving out any fridge they can lay their hands on. Even though our fridge was left correctly labelled...Disney gave a follow-on swapper a brown fridge then the next swapper, a silver fridge . Ours is most definitely white with distinct posters on it. I suggest you ask your swappers to print off a copy of your fridge picture/box and take it with them. When they pick up the fridge, they can show the picture to make sure Disney identify the correct fridge. Ours could be anywhere now. We are going to try and track it down but if we can't find it when the next swapper tries to get it, I will have no option to close the swap. I know there may well be lots of disappointed people and I am really gutted for them (I know how I would feel ) and if you have openings, I will certainly send them your way if you don't mind. Thanks for the offer and good luck with the longevity of your fridge

Yikes that is hard. So far we still have the big silver and pink box! I will let the swappers know.

I have just heard that it is official...fridges will be provided in all value resorts by the end of April. If this is the case, it seems like our fridge may well have gone missing just at the right time (if you know what I mean). I'm just wondering if Disney have a hand in the fridge going missing...thinking it may turn up in some room somewhere??? Just a thought . Anyway, I was feeling very low, thinking many of you on the list were going to be disappointed if our fridge was not found, but I am happy to say that it seems it is going to be OK for everyone if Disney provide firdges. Please can I just say THANK YOU to everyone, past and present in our swap for being such lovely friendly people. It has been great helping to make your trips that little bit more special and I will miss no longer being a part of it all. Thank you again x

I will hold on to the list until we know for certain that our fridge is lost or if someone confirms that there are fridges in the All Stars rooms. After that, just to reassure everyone, I willl destroy all information I have for swappers on my records.

You can keep my name on the list as long as you run it. From what I have heard about these fridges Disney is installing, they are really tiny and are not really refrigerators, but coolers. They do not reach the same temperature as a refrigerator does. If someone out there has actually had one in their room, please let us know for sure what they are like.

If we don't keep this swap going, thank you bluefairy for all your hard work and dedication to this swap. We all appreciate it immensely!!
