she also go any discounts from just showing room key.
When you rent a reservation, you are technically a guest of the DVC owner, so you should get free valet parking priveleges. Our first 2 trips to WDW, we rented from a DVC owner and got the parking pass upon entry. Keep in mind that even though you get complimentary valet parking, you should still tip the valets.
Free valet parking is definitely not a perk that renters should receive.
I don't remember my parking permit saying "DVC Member." It certainly had the name of the resort, but I don't remember the membership notation. Of course, the parking permit is not exactly something I read word for word, so I may have missed it.![]()
On our May trip to BCV we had mixed results. Sometimes when we parked the car, they asked to see the card, other times they didn't. Crisi is right, you'd better check whether it's free or not, because some have had the $10/day charges added to their room tab without any notification and then had a mess to fix at checkout.
With Valet Parking contracted out, many members are having a hard time with this. So a non-member, renting a reservation from a member, is not entitled to any DVC perks. Just like Crisi stated from the Public Offering Statement.
When do you tip for valet parking and how much? I know we are entitled to free valet parking as members, but I have never used it.
