Has anyone gotten one yesterday or today in their email?

I'm just wondering if they will release more gradually or if they did them all at one shot?

I think I've read somewhere on here that someone was able to secure one yesterday even though others were being told the rooms were all gone.

What time frame are these upgrades for? September?

I'm curious because I'm going in early December and would be wondering if these upgrades extend that far.

I think it's for the August-Sept. free dining time frame right now.

Some people who have vacations booked in August-Sept. and are staying in a value received an email with a special pin code for a free upgrade to SSR or OKW.

No one can tell. Its purpose is to open up more rooms at the values, which they apparently can sell, by moving people to SSR and OKW, which are apparently selling more slowly. If enough people have already moved, they won't send out any more upgrades. If not enough people have moved, or if they need to do this for other specific dates, they'll send out more upgrades.

I just called Disney to see if I had any codes, and I got a very nice CM who looked it up for me. Although I was listed like 10x in the system (no idea ), I didn't have any. She asked what I was looking for and I told her I would like to upgrade to OKW or SSR. She said that today was the last day for that, so none of those codes should be sent out anymore
