Free Trips?

I have a question for the people who have already gotten married. I told a friend of mine that Disney is where I plan to do my wedding in 2010, or vowel renewal I should say. It will be our 10yr anniversary My friend told me that if you have a wedding there, that for a year after you get married you get free admission into the parks, like a pass or something and hotel rooms. Is this true? That just sounds too good to be true. I plan to do my wedding there regardless after all it is the most magical place on earth!

HI and congrats on ten years!!!

When you book a disney wedding they give you annual passes that are good for a year. That is with an excape and custom wedding,with the custom you get a free room at any resort for one night.

For vow renewals I am not sure if you get those perks.

There are a couple brides on her planning a vow renewal,hopefully they can tell you.

VRers get the APs as well - they are treated exactly the same as a Wedding.

Oh just to clarify about the free room, that is if you meet the 25 room night min room block requirement...

The annual passes give you free entry into the parks, but you only get one free hotel night and that is if you meet your room block requirements. The AP does give you access to discounted hotel prices, but not free rooms.

Also, remember that only you and your husband get the passes, not your children. We have a 16 year old and we had to budgeted to buy her an annual pass.

Great advice we have a 13yr old and a 6yr old.
