Has anyone done the free trial of owners locker? We were going to try it. It’s asking for a credit card which is fine since after 6 months I will be paying anyways. I can’t get an answer in the website how much they authorize when you sign up.

I don’t think they authorize anything until they charge the 7th month. The free trial is limited to the monthly plan.

Also they are very responsive on email and phone. I had trouble getting the free trial to work and they literally called me and walked me through the steps!

Highly recommend, and I hope you find good use of the locker!

Kitchen supplies including a Nespresso coffee maker. Condiments that do not require refrigeration.

We love our owners locker, we put almost everything in it; hats, sneakers, full size lotion, shampoo, lotion and many more things. Totally worth it especially with the free trial.

Are we allowed to share where you found the 6months free trial? I found the DVC discount page, but don't see anything about the free trial? Thanks

Can anyone share how they went about loading up for the first time? Take an extra suitcase on plane? Bought stuff to be delivered to room? Rented/drove car and went shopping locally?

Then can anyone share what happened when they decided to cancel? Can you opt for them to just keep/throw out the stuff?

I am pretty sure we drove down when we first bought the owner's locker and brought a tote full of what would be our owner's locker. Personally we are doing longer trips and driving to WDW so Owner's Locker no longer makes sense for us. We keep a tote at home that is our own Owner's Locker. We put it in the trunk the night before we drive down.

From Owner's Locker website regarding cancellations:

Cancellation

Life is full of changes and if, for any reason, Owner's Locker no longer makes sense for you, we understand. When you let us know that you want to cancel, please specify whether you would like your Locker delivered to your resort one last time, shipped to you or destroyed.

From the moment your Locker leaves our warehouse for the last time we will refund any unused entire months of prepaid storage fees that were part of your annual membership plan or use the balance to defray the cost of shipping if you so elect. If you never want to see your Locker or its contents again, it will be destroyed. If you want your Locker to be delivered to you while you're at the resort, make sure when you schedule a visit you specify that it's a final delivery. If you would like us to ship your Locker to you, we will do so at your expense. If you decide you’d like to keep the Locker after you have cancelled, there will be a $50 charge for the Locker if you are cancelling within the first two years of your membership; a $25 charge if you are cancelling after two years; and no charge if you have been a member of Owner'’ Locker for five years or more.

We used delivery and used a local Target. In 2024 we had two lockers last September we went down to one with no issues. No complaints at all!
