Free-time check-in?????

We've booked this with TCD for our trip in December. Has anyone else used it? Was it any good? How long does it take? How long does it save at Sanford? What about returning the hire car?

Any info would be a great help.

I was toying with travelling TCD next year. I read on their website that even if you check in your bags early the car still has to be returned 3 hours before your flight.

That's correct, because car has to be back 3 hours before flight we've never bothered with it-we just kept our cases in the boot of car until time to go to airport.

However some-one I work with used it, 8 people travelling together-had minibus-it saved a long trip with loads of bags etc. They really rated it.

Don't know who your car is through - but we were late with Dollar last year and ended up with a big bill!!!

Luckily customer services agreed to refund after we sent an email.

They're pretty rigid - the best thing to do is chat to Dollar directly to see - it may be possible to change the drop off time at the counter on arrival for a smaller fee than just turning up late.

We found the freetime check in extremely useful - dropped our luggage off first thing then popped over to Magic Kingdom for our last day safe in the knowledge that our car wasn't a thief's dream!!!!

we used it both times we went with TCD included free in our premium seating, it was brilliant knowing the cases were dealt with. The car was dropped back to the airport aprx 2 hrs before our flight just make sure it is booked up until an hour before your flight & you shouldnt be charged.
