OKay it looks like these are sent to Florida residents and are good for 1 day in both parks FOR FREE and then you can purchase 6 additional tickets for only 39.00. This would save me so much money as we are only going for 1 day (both parks) and need 5 tickets. Anyway, the tickets say they are for the recipient OR current resident. I just wonder if anyone has ever bought these on ebay or if its a scam or even what is a good deal on ebay for them? :confused3

LINK?
Are you a FL resident? If not then you wouldn't be able to use FL resident tickets. I wouldn't trust buying tickets or anything ticket/fotl etc related on Ebay.
Someone here recently ran across several auctions on Ebay where someone was selling the guest assistances passes for the disabled/those with medical conditions etc.

Since many types of ticket media are non-transferable, you would be out of luck if there was a problem with the ticket.

A longtime DIS'er fell for a WDW ebay ticket scam.
The seller claimed the tickets were new, never used. Turned out the tickets were used and worthless. The buyer spent several hundred $$ buying the passes just to save a few bucks. It completely ruined their trip

I would not purchase these tickets. My understanding is that each ticket has the individuals name and address printed on them. While I assume its rare for someone to ask for ID it is very possible.

They will ask for ID. The coupon much match either your name or your address. If neither matches, then you won't be able to use the tickets.

they WILL make sure that the name OR THE ADDRESS matches and they will not sell it to you if it does not...I got some of these last year and my friend got one and she gave us hers and we could not use it with ours because the address did not match....now i just got one last week again and I gave them to my ex husband so he could take my son, since my son lives at my address and then my ex can use the other friends and family one....

They are not an actual ticket. It is a coupon you have to turn in with your id at a ticket window to get a ticket. Like a voucher. I used one yesterday that they sent to our house.

I just received one in the mail too. I guess they sent me one last year and I never used it, so this is supposedly my last chance. But it definitely says that your ID must match the address on the coupon. Not sure how they can be selling that on Ebay. I am now determined to use it this year :yay:
