I was just in a room and some girl goes up to a guy and asked if he was free. In her sig it said how she was free. So I'm guessing we will now see the word Free being used in place of Taken at times.
To answer your question directly, I have noticed this as well. My signature on VMK says, "Don't do that taken stuff!" I had a boy ask me if I was free, I said read my signature and he said, "I said are you free! lol"
I really wanted to say, well, okay, but my husband won't like it.
and yes berry princess has a right to her opinion. i agree that they can't take free away, but in my opinion free and taken are basically the same thing. unless you mean that your free for the day so you can play pirates till closing 
free shouldn't be taken seriously, because it is not as direct as being taken.yet being free is still not very good and really shouldn't be used in a kids game.

I think some of you are being ridiculously harsh on Princess Berry for her comment. She is as entitled to post her observations as the rest of you.
I think it is sad that somebody posts a general observation or even something good about VMK and the Dissers here will either rip that person apart, cut-them down for making a comment or the thread dies fast, HOWEVER, when somebody posts a big rant, complaint, or something they do not like in VMK, the post goes on for pages and days.
I think everybody should pay everybody else the same respect and regard they would like themselves. Each person who is a member of this board has the right to post their opinions and express their feelings about any and all things Disney/Disney related...or whatever the thread is about. Also remember that many of the people we are dealing with on VMK (and the sometimes the Disboards) are children whose parents are not parenting.

How would you know what they think or say if they no longer post? Do you mean people you know personally that were once members who have chosen to no longer participate?

The deadness of this thread was not exactly what I was referring to.
I just notice (in general) that the nit-picky "VMK did not release this, VMK did not make this tradeable, VMK host quest prize, blah" - seems to get a lot of band-wagoners and the horse gets beaten for a long time and the hair get split into many pieces, while positve stuff or general comments seem to be unimportant, or turned into something negative. Maybe in general, people just love to gripe and be negative and since I am generally not like that, it stands out to me.
I do not care if people agree with the taken/free comment Berry made, I just thought some of the remarks to her observation were snotty.
Agreed. I was pointing out that the direction of the board is lead by what the members post on the board....if one thinks that the board is taking on a negative direction why not start or post positive threads or posts
