FREE SUMMER- MD Park Quest 2012 & Bowling

For all those in Maryland looking for something to do this summer- http://www.dnr.state.md.us/parkquest/index.asp

Registration starts at 10am today! Last year registration filled in first 24 hours it was open.

If you have not heard of Park Quest it is awesome. Your team will get a passport to visit state parks and complete quest. Everything needed to complete quest is free.

If your team completes at least 10 quest, you will be invited to a celebration at the end. The celebration includes free t-shirts, tons of activities and lots of raffles.(Several trips in raffles- sorry no Disney trips)

Awesome fun! Up to 10 people per team but only 1,000 teams can sign up.

I registered. This sounds like so much fun. Thanks for the link. We are team 1020 so maybe they allowed a few more than 1000? I just told a friend about it but it says it is full already.

Glad you made it. Last year the numbers went over slightly too before it was shut down. If your friend didn't make it and you do not have 10 on your team, you can email and have her family added to your team. All members do not have to go on every quest. So you could do some together and some separate. But whole team could still go to celebration. They will need names, ages, and t-shirt sizes of those that you add. I added a friend to our team. Figured that saved space for more teams and we like to do quests together. Usually it is just us and kids but occasionally our DHs get to join.
