Free (sorta) Disney Tickets for Orange Bowl

Just saw this on another board. I heard that they gave anyone attenting the Orange Bowl free tix, but hadn't thought of this.

Seems a lot of people are unloading their tix (scalpers are trying to get rid of the ones they couldn't unload before the game) fairly cheap. The OP on that board paid $79 for 4 unused tickets - less than $20 a ticket.

The tix are good at WDW as well as DL.

Let's see. It is valid only during the Anniversary celebration (5/5/05-10/31/06) with blackout dates. It is a one-day non hopping ticket. It is valid only on the day of the exchange and it cannot be used for an upgrade. Also, name and address may be required at time of exchange.

Okay, I don't get it....We will be in WDW the end of May, 2005. I was looking to buy four 1 day tickets....I looked at the linked website and couldn't find the blackout dates, etc.

There are quite a few restrictions - appears to be holidays (July 4th, Christmas to New Years, etc) They're all listed with the bullet points on that page.

However for someone who only needs a couple of single days and will be travelling during non-restrictive dates, it could be a good alternative. It seems that some people are having luck emailing some of the scalpers who still have their tix posted on ebay (the auctions that haven't ended yet, but were in place to sell tickets BEFORE the game) Some of these people apparently are willing to sell cheap.
