If you want to take make-up with you on your trip and not really think of it as a large loss, but won't stand for loseing a $24.00 lipgloss, go to the counters and ask for samples of the make-up you try on! They usually are a pretty good size and it FREE so you don't have to worry about losing it. Also you can have a great time trying out new things!
The best brands for samples (IMHO) is Stila and MAC. They have GREAT sizes and for some MAC things (such as the pigment and lipglass, it could last you FOREVER!)
Tips:
1.Always act reallllllllly nice to all of the workers. They may slip you a good deal or a whole bunch more samples!
2.Never be too picky. That is a sure fire way to get gipped.
3.Buy an item, it can help.
Tips on what to ask for:
Mac-Pigment (can me used on lips, eyes, nails, and cheeks, and a little goes a LONGGG way), Lipglass, and basically everything but the brushes. Everything therebasically seems to have samples. (BTW, thier "paint" is great.)
Stila:The demi-gloss lip stick (I belive it's called), the lipglaze, and lip things, and eye shawdow.
