Just a reminder ~ Get a free regular Italian ice 3/20 12pm-9pm at Rita's.

When I first read the title I thought "What is Rita's Ice and why do we need to free it?" Needless to say we don't have Rita's Ice around here or I might go and get one!

I LOVE Rita's, especially the gelatti!!!!! Mmmmm!! If I had the money I'd open a franchise up here in MA. I can only get them when I go to NJ.

My kids keeping asking about FREE day....but for heavens sakes we've got SNOW on the ground...sort of takes some of the experience away...but maybe they will still be up for it..

Thanks for the reminder! We'll have to go get one today. We drove by it last night and the poor employee looked so lonely sitting in there. It was completely empty, but we did have about 4 inches of snow yesterday. I'm sure it'll be crowded today.

my daughter's and I went today for free rita's
I tried the new flavor Banana split
pretty good - banana ice w/pieces of cherry, pineapple, and little chocolate chips in it
We were frozen sitting on a bench with all that snow on the ground

yum - mint chocolate chip! We took it home to eat it though! My daughter wanted to put her gloves on to hold the cup. My son was bummed because the vanilla was gone.

Soon enough we'll be in shorts and hotter than Hades.
