Free Ringtones

How do you get free ringtones on a phone that does not have internet capabilities? I have downloaded several ringtones and screen savers from Myxer on my phone, but I have internet. I tried to get some on DDs phone (which does not have internet) and it keeps saying I have to open the browser to download them. I know everyone that gets ringtones from Myxer does not have internet. How do you do that? I am sure this is a silly error on my part, but DD is anxious to get new ringtones. Thanks!

BTW - We have AT&T phones and are on a normal calling / unlimited texting plan.

Is the phone able to hook up to the computer. If so you can put ringtones on that way. That is how do my ATT phone. I don't use mixer so I don't have a clue about that part.

You should send the sound to the phone in a text message and then it will be on the phone (again, this varies by phone type and your phone carrier.)
Try attaching the sound to a text message and send it to the other phone number, and then the sound is there and you can save it as a ringtone.

I have the net blocked on my DD's phone. She sends whatever she wants to my phone, then bluetooths it to hers.

I second phonezoo. It comes through as a picture message to the phone and you download it from there.

How do you text it to yourself? I don't see anything obvious on the site!

phonezoo lets you text them to the phone and the site I use it audiko. I think they let you text them as well. I download them from the site and them transfer them to my phone with the data cable.

yup, phonezoo....that's what I use for all our ringtones and we have 4 cell phones in the house. I just make the tone and phonezoo texts it to me, open it up and set it as a ringtone. Easy Peasy Lemon Squeasy. Seriously, if I can do that anyone can...

I download whatever ringtone I want to my desktop and then hook my phone to my pc and drop them into it.


Do not click on send ringtones to your phone. If you choose that way you get charged.
